I like it, it has things that Ubuntu doesn’t have stock, like Compiz (the effect in the screenshot, it shows you all open windows). Graphically, it’s not a million miles from Ubuntu – it uses GNOME and Metacity, but I think the current theme is a little bright for my liking. I have been looking at alternatives, but I haven’t found anything definitive. Performance wise, Fedora comes with some improvements, particularly when viewing
porn pictures, something to do with a faster jpeg algorithm or some nonsense. I told a mate of mine that I was quitting Ubuntu for Windows… yeah, and I’m going back on Facebook.
